Product OK but not great

The hands were wrapped with washers and nuts and were scratched so I had to paint them before attaching them to the dial. Works fine but you can hear the mechanism from 5 feet away. The hands move 1/4 inch at a time before you feel the gears snap, so I don't know how accurate the time will be if the hands move during movement. Contacted support, got an automatic reply immediately, but no further action. to discuss problems in 2 days.
