Prevents water from draining out of my sink hole

I'm sure there are different sizes of sink drains but you would think that these drain plugs are a bit generic. Not the case at all. This plug prevents H2O from going down the drain. As you can see in the photo, this happens an hour after passing through the same amount of water that has not yet been drained. Spend a few bucks more for something genuine and more versatile. They also call it "pop-up". There is no popping or blocking. Regardless of the setting, push or pull, it mounts in a position to allow water to drain. The most disappointing womp-womp.
