Orinoco River cellulose sponges are essential for cleaning around the home or workplace. They are absorbed well and quickly with a little water. They are non-abrasive and allow you to clean stovetops, crystal, faucets and anything that can scratch with a traditional steel wool soap pad or detergent pad. When I'm done with the Orinoco pad, I can put it in the dishwasher and it's ready to use again. The Orinoco Sponge is made from natural fibers that decompose/compost over time so I don't feel like it poses a threat to the environment. I love that they come in different colors for the different parts of the house I clean. I took the example from the product description and use red for the bathroom, blue for the kitchen or whichever room you associate with that particular color. The pads are thin, allowing me to flex and twist them to get between tight spots and potentially slotted surfaces. Great product, great price.
