Asus software is unusable. It's just impossible. If you plan to somehow customize the keyboard through software - forget about it! This is the second time I've written to support on this keyboard. At first, right after the purchase, the software simply did not see the keyboard or saw it through time, but half of the functions did not work - it seemed to be fixed with an ate. The biggest problem is the ates themselves! Without ates, the program simply will not allow you to use it. It seems that everything is working well for you, but one day you go into the settings and they write to you "to continue - ate the program" Without this, it simply will not start. And okay, there you lose time, download and install this ate, then restart the computer, just to reassign a button or a macro or a backlight. But now this ate is not installed for me at all. It just doesn't install. I remind you, if you don't upgrade, you won't be able to use it. I fiddled with it all week, eventually deleted everything, according to all the rules, but now the program is not installed at all, writes error 101 check the Internet. And nothing helps. Support advises to try on a clean Windows. That is, for me, for good, in order to set up, for example, a macro, you need to reinstall Windows. But the problem is not in this, but in the fact that the ates are forced, and even if everything is fixed now, then at any moment a new, forced ate can arrive, which will break everything again. And also, in order to install an ate on the keyboard (which I remind you is mandatory and without it the program will not allow itself to be configured), you must first install all the latest ates on Windows, nothing will happen without them. I have 2 Asus products in my house on different computers, and on both of them there is now a correspondence with support, both of them do not have software at all (on one armory cryate, on the other program for the motherboard, both stopped working after the ate). All other equipment works fine. This is generally the first time when I cannot solve the problem on my own and write to the support.
