The triple timer is a great idea, works well but lasts a long time. I have a small collection of such keys, including old keys that end up with intermittent and unreliable keys. I've used them primarily for fuel burn times on small planes, so reliability is paramount to me. The last unit was for the kitchen (baking and cooking, you know). Soon the clip on the back broke (with a handy magnet) and I temporarily fixed it with a glue gun. The clamp/magnet now works in one position so we're running to failure again (which I'm really not expecting anytime soon). I should mention that I contacted West Bend customer service about the broken clip but got no response which is a bit disappointing as they are made in my state and actually not that far from where I live lived most of my life. Overall, given the broken clip and possible breakage, I think a new one would be affordable, but I would like a better clip and more reliable snap system.
