Best timer The best kitchen tools and gadgets ever

This white West Bend timer with three timers is easy to use as a clock, stopwatch or timer. I've been using two of the exact same West Bends (but with different colored knobs) for over a decade and they work just as perfectly as they still do. I keep my old ones in other rooms so I bought this new one (with dark and light gray knobs) because the horrible timer on my new stove is useless. The powerful magnet at this West Bend restaurant holds the timer securely to the fan hood so you can…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Nothing here

I expected a much better product. We had three West Bend hourly timers maybe 10 years ago and loved them. They were fairly reliable, easy to set up, and very easy to read from an angle. However, this new model is tricky to set up and if you try to view/read them from a slight angle you get a spooky/faded background of liquid number patterns. Not only that, when it is 4pm the clock shows 4pm which together with a ghost number printed in the background creates confusion and prevents you from…

Everything about this timer is simple

While some people complain about the wobbly base and magnet, I really like the unit. Although I haven't done it yet, I plan on eventually making a wooden container that I can put on a cabinet handle so I can keep the timer at eye level. Otherwise, my expectations were not as high as some users. I always have a place for the timer where it can't fall off or break. Functionally, all functions work perfectly. The time is exactly as I need it, with no deviations. The size of the viewing window is…

Universal timer, good value for money, weak clip

The triple timer is a great idea, works well but lasts a long time. I have a small collection of such keys, including old keys that end up with intermittent and unreliable keys. I've used them primarily for fuel burn times on small planes, so reliability is paramount to me. The last unit was for the kitchen (baking and cooking, you know). Soon the clip on the back broke (with a handy magnet) and I temporarily fixed it with a glue gun. The clamp/magnet now works in one position so we're running…

awkward pressing of buttons, died early

This is a compact triple timer (can count 3 things at once) with a magnet to hold it (e.g. on the front of the fridge). The timing control is simple. That is, it is clear which button to press to perform which function. There are two main problems. First, its physical design means you have to hold it in one hand while pressing the buttons with the other. This is because (a) the magnetic clip protrudes from the center of the back of the timer and there are no extra legs. So if it gets stuck on a
