Review on ⏰ White West Bend Easy-to-Read Digital Magnetic Kitchen Timer with Large Display and Electronic Alarm - One Size by Denise Aramori

This is a compact triple timer (can count 3 things at once) with a magnet to hold it (e.g. on the front of the fridge). The timing control is simple. That is, it is clear which button to press to perform which function. There are two main problems. First, its physical design means you have to hold it in one hand while pressing the buttons with the other. This is because (a) the magnetic clip protrudes from the center of the back of the timer and there are no extra legs. So if it gets stuck on a surface, pressing the buttons will tip the timer and it will fall off the surface. And (b) it's very light and the buttons are too tight (considering the weight of the device); So if it's on the counter, pressing the buttons will only move the timer away from you. Second, I had it clipped to my fridge for a while (maybe a year). The battery was still OK (the display showed the time) and the battery had not leaked. But the keys no longer changed the display. It is therefore only suitable as a clock (until the time is changed twice a year). I wouldn't buy any other. Another problem for me is that it is too loud. This can be useful in noisy environments. But I live alone in a quiet house. I will also look for a timer with larger, flatter buttons. The buttons are too small side to side and too close together for my hands, so I have to be more careful to press the right button than I would like. (I wear XL gloves.) The buttons are also a bit large and padded so they flex from side to side. I would prefer a less flexible button that only does one thing when clicked (clicks/activations).
