This is the chain I use on my personal bikes. Anything from 6-8 speeds. They last quite a while before stretching, they work much better than the old flat link bike chains. And if you want your old bike to work well again, you need a new chain. As a bike mechanic I can tell you that 70% of the time you say it just stopped working properly. it's a chain, they stretch, even the best. Remember, measure the links of your old chains. 24 links are EXACTLY 12 inches, if noticeably longer (pin width), replace.
