The perfect jewelry vise. I have a PanaVise arbor press and I liked it so much that I chose this brand for my new vise. For jewelry work, most vises are set too high above the machine, clamped only on the rim, and/or have rough jaws. It sits low, closes securely and you can choose from a wide range of jaw covers to suit your job. I suggest pairing it with a low profile base and experimenting with placement before bolting it to the bench. Teflon or brass sponges are best for working with jewelry.
