I have a small mixed breed dog with a dachshund broad chest and short front legs. I must have tried at least 15 different brands/types of harnesses before finding the Gooby comfort. With all the others, the chest strap would migrate up to her neck as she walked, which would then proceed to make her choke. This one with the unique X shape does not come near her neck. There are also multiple points of adjustment, so no matter what your pup's shape, it can be made to fit. I even went and ordered multiple of these just in case the company quit making them. So far, it has been 5 years, and we are still on the first one! One other thing that is awesome is that it is super lightweight and breathable, which is important in the hot humid South.
