Just opened this flashlight and despite not having another UV flashlight to compare this to I would be willing to argue that this one is the best bang for your buck.Pros:- Bright in UV terms- is small and light-most definitely 365nm if not shorterCons:-Gets hot within 5min-Connection between battery isn't ideal, may need/want to run a wire from tip of spring to connector.-Can not mod/or completely disassemble without the u-shape pin tool (cant remember what they are called)-Is extremely dangerous to skin and eye sight. This is very important for you to know, I feel this flashlight is emitting dangerous levels of UV radiation. I would not under any circumstances point this light at anything reflective that would shine back into your eyes or shine this flashlight at anyone closer than 50ft of you if at all. This is a weapon and should be treated as such.-365nm to my understanding was a safe UV wave to shine at myself or at people for a couple seconds at a time. Now like I said I have just opened this flashlight. I have not hurt myself or anyone else since opening it. I am scared to put this light on my skin and I feel my glasses will be a necessary thing to wear when I am using this light strictly because of the power this thing has. That being said, I do not know how power of the light vs lightwave range effects damage to your body especially at 10 watts-Now I know the flashlight says warning this and that but my understanding is that 365nm is a UVA light that would have a tough time giving you a tan even under long exposure times. This flashlight will melt your vision in seconds.-I have never purchased anything in my life so underrated. To achieve their supposed 365nm they put a filter over the LED that only allows short wave to pass through the lens. Which is really confusing because of the extensive research I did prior to buying this flashlight have convinced me that you need quarts to achieve such short waves so I had my doubts about this method. Which begs the question, what nm is this flashlight actually capable of with a quarts lens and how short of wave can or is this LED capable to achieve? My guess is an extremely dangerous levels. Not sure if this is actually a con.Recommendations to AloneFire:-This flashlight needs more cooling-Would love to see this in a C8 flashlight with a quarts lensFinal thoughts:I got these flashlights for cheap and they do exactly what I need them to do and my worry of a buying a cheap flashlight that could not achieve 365nm was immediately put behind be as soon as I turned it on. Build quality was as expected for a cheap flashlight (good enough). Would highly recommend this flashlight with an extreme caution of the warnings listed above. Hope this helps
