The dormitories are bright even though the 'blinds' are closed and you are not allowed to install appliances. It was the perfect solution to give my kid a dark room at night without installing any devices. We put velcro on the bottom of the screen and on the sill, otherwise the curtain didn't stay all the way down - there was a gap of a couple of centimetres. Maybe adding weight to the floor would help? Generally satisfied with the purchase!
