Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

I took Ryzen 5 4600H / 16 GB RAM / 512 GB / RTX 2060 / FreeDOS. The scenario of use is both a working machine and toys to play. And with that, and with the other copes perfectly. For its price at the time of purchase (97k at the end of November 2022) - one of the most balanced options in terms of characteristics. Competitors either lack build quality and cooling (HP models), or design and features (Dell, ASUS, MSI offer typical gaming laptops overpaid for a typical gaming design). In games - almost without questions. What's nice is that the video card itself boosts up to pretty decent frequencies (more than 1800 MHz) at high loads, while the temperature never exceeded 70 degrees, which is very good. Cooling is noisy, of course, but I play with headphones, and the word does not bother me at all. There is a switch of work profiles, "quiet", standard and productive. In the latter, there is a real performance boost: on the example of Control at almost maximum settings with RTX + DLSS enabled, the average frame rate increased by about 5 FPS, up to 55-60. Cyberpunk 2077 - pulls, if you turn off RTX, then you can squeeze 60 fps at high. All in all, a great buy and I recommend it.

Pros
  • + A modest discreet design without this eye-catching backlight, just a modest black laptop - perfect, I think. + Powerful stuffing, which is equally suitable for work tasks and games. Especially for games! + And all this powerful beauty does not overheat, because the laptop has an excellent cooling system. Its efficiency can be further increased by such advanced nanotechnologies as a pair of matchboxes under the legs, so that air is taken in more efficiently (it was checked that in the performance mode in games it was possible to reduce the temperature of the video card by 5 degrees, due to which the frequencies rise slightly). + Excellent screen - in my configuration it is 144 Hz, 100% sRGB (which, of course, I cannot verify, but bloggers will not lie), bright, juicy colors. + The keyboard is pleasant, it is convenient to type, it is convenient to play games. Around the keyboard - plastic, "reinforced with talc", whatever that means, but it feels really nice, nothing crashes into the hand, there is no discomfort in any scenario (which is individual, but still). + Nimble SSD included + additional slot for a second drive. + Battery - in the "quiet" mode of the laptop and maximum savings in Windows with leisurely browsing, office applications and video conferencing, it lasted 6.5 hours, which is pretty good. + Good set of ports. + Webcam shutter for the paranoid :)
Cons
  • - The laptop itself is heavy, and the power supply to it is still almost a kilogram of weight. - Wonderful soft-touch plastic inside perfectly collects prints. And the lid doesn't come off. - The touchpad is not the best in the world, moreover, it does not work under Linux. And even the patches that should treat a dead touchpad were reset after several reboots. Yes, of course, I mostly use a mouse, but sometimes I need a touchpad too. : the touchpad on Linux still managed to be launched after thoughtful smoking of the forums. But the sediment remained! - Some problems with the microphone - when making calls, the interlocutors do not hear me, and this applies to both the built-in and the headphone microphone. Perhaps some kind of software jamb. - About once every six months I need a card reader, which is not here.
