You are better off getting a FRAM or other reliable air filter for a few bucks more.

This ECOGARD XA5456 does not fit the Honda CRV well due to the larger internal diameter tolerance of this ECOGARD (85mm) compared to Fram and OEM CA9493 (81mm). You are better off getting a FRAM air filter or other reliable air filter for a few bucks more. The primary seal that keeps dirt from entering the engine cylinders and causing damage is the primary seal at the top ID (equivalent to the filter housing). ) and lower diameter (fits in the bottom of the chamber) of the engine air filter. This is solely due to the larger diameter of the ECOGARD.
