Review on 🎧 Huawei FreeBuds Pro Earbuds with Advanced Noise Cancellation, Bluetooth 5.2, and 3-Mic System for iOS and Android (Carbon Black) by Anand Gedam ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not justify itself at all.

Immediately after the purchase, the headphones made a positive impression. All the declared functions work well, the headphones sound good, they sit comfortably (the main thing is to insert them correctly). I would like to have more volume margin, because the current is enough almost on the brink. In general, I was satisfied with the purchase, BUT . I decided to measure the autonomy of the headphones and was very disappointed that they could not even show the hours of operation declared by the manufacturer. Instead of 6-7 hours on the honor phone, at 50% volume and the AAC codec, the headphones barely reached 5. I tried to measure several times and saw the same result. Case could lose 7-8% per day. And here the problem is that if the new headphones cannot show the declared autonomy, then after a while of use they will begin to discharge even faster and they will be categorically missed. Unfortunately, this is not the only complaint about the headphones. I recently discovered that the right earpiece discharges much faster than the left one (see screenshot). Somewhere in the responses to this claim, I saw an official response from Huawei stating that the headphones have a function that automatically changes the role of the main earpiece and controls that the discharge is uniform. It really is and even works at first, but, in the end, I noticed a difference of 39%, although both headphones were worn from the moment they were fully charged. Here, of course, the mode of use was a little more serious. The headphones worked for an hour in the sound transmission mode and they were still enough for 3 hours of music with a volume of 70%. Further, the right earpiece completely sat down, and 40% remained on the left. I rounded the time towards the headphones. Under normal use (50% volume and no noise reduction), the discharge difference is 15%. As a result, with short uses, the headphones will not disappoint you, but if you plan to use them often and for a long time, then I warned you, but maybe I just got a marriage and this case is an isolated one. I do not recommend taking them for their full price.
