Review on TP-Link Archer T4U Plus: Dual Band USB WiFi Adapter for Desktop PC - AC1300Mbps, High Gain 5dBi Antennas, Windows 10/8.1/8/7, Mac OS by Onsommoshit Mathews

This is a very low quality product. I have a tplink network system at home that works great. So I was encouraged to buy this system with antennas that promise but don't deliver. First the pros: 1. It's small and has a USB 3.0 cable, nothing else. Cons: 1. Delivery took 3 days, too slow and delayed even at maximum speed.2. The range is no better than my Intel 9560ac adapter. When I test with the adapter next to the laptop (MSI 9sc), the test speeds are exactly the same. This leads me to the conclusion that either this device's antennas are just bad and underperforming, or my laptop's internal antenna is incredibly good. I vote for the first theory!3. The CD comes in a box. 2021: Seriously Tplink?4. It doesn't work well with 2 USB 3.1 ports out of the 4 USB 3.1 ports my laptop has. and they are all in great condition, i connect my wireless mamba mouse or rgb keyboard, usb 3.1 and they all work great on these ports. But this adapter is NOT. It keeps turning itself off, of course with the cable that came with it. This is frustrating and very poorly tested.5. It only has a better signal if you pull it through with the supplied cable and look for direct contact between the antennas and the router. But it completely disrupts your home. The idea was to put it next to my computer. but as I explained it doesn't increase the signal at all. The same 180 MB in the speed test and fast. So you have an extended cable on the go.6. Price. It shouldn't cost more than $15. It offers nothing but individual antenna adapters. False advertising? Maybe. But my experience was disastrous.
