Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good second monitor for the price.

I bought this to use as a second monitor when someone else in our family uses our second full size monitor dock. I have Windows 10 on work laptops and Windows 11 on my laptop and tablet at home. This monitor works great with both - just plug and play. The image quality is okay considering the price. I wish it had some buttons to adjust video settings like color and contrast. I'm sure there is a way to do this with the software they provide, but I haven't taken the time to figure it out. The quality is good enough to begin with, but if I had an easy way to change it I'd probably tweak it. The same goes for the feature that lets you rotate your monitor to portrait mode - you'll have to fiddle with the software to make this work, and I haven't gotten into that yet. The monitor comes with a USB Type A connector that fits many laptops and other devices with Type A connectors. If you have a newer laptop or device with newer Type-C USC ports, you will need to use a USB power adapter. I use the inexpensive one I bought from Revain and it works great. I don't travel with this monitor so I can't speak to its durability when packed in a heavy bag. The monitor's back and frame feel very flexible and not overly rigid or sturdy like high-end laptops. However, this is to be expected in this price range. If you plan on traveling I would recommend either not packing it in a padded case or spending a little more for a more expensive monitor. For its price range, this is a good basic secondary monitor.
