Review on Centerforce DF542035 Friction Clutch Pressure by Eric Cooper

I bought this clutch for my 2005 Toyota Matrix. This hitch fitted perfectly and was very easy to fit. Be sure to purchase a new throwout bearing as it is not supplied. First let me say that I needed a new clutch and wanted something with more power and longer life without sacrificing shifting comfort for everyday riding. This clutch has fulfilled all my wishes! What is difficult to see from the picture is that the clutch has two sides, one textured side for smooth shifting and the other side has raised washers for better performance. Hence the double friction. After installation it took about 500 miles to break in. The first 100 miles were rough, he packed very, very quickly. Once broken in you get very smooth shifts with great holding power if you want to enjoy fast rides with hard shifts. It handles hard redline shifts very well and grabs instantly. It gives you the feeling of power whenever you want it and comfortable, easy, smooth shifting for everyday driving. Couldn't be happier with this clutch!
