It's light weight and doesn't have the annoying ring that comes with the Dewalt DWFP12569 floor nailer. This ring is between the rubber head and the metal head, this ring damages the ground: that's why I chose this hammer. I remove the star because the metal head notch is very short so you can only hit the tongue side of the boards. Other large-bore hammers can hit both tongue and groove without damaging the flooring. In principle, you can only lay in one direction with this tool; Sometimes it's useless because for special conditions you have to go the other way. I removed another star because it's so light you're more likely to not fully let go of the air trigger and leave nails halfway. That's why in the end it's a mallet and not a hammer, mallets are meant to be heavy and aren't. So I ended up having to use two hammers, one heavy for use with the nail gun and the other for setting the ground (in one direction).
