My chicks are chewing on this stuff! It seems to have a lot of small particles in it that could be wasted if fed dry, but I mix water into my feed to make a puree and it all gets eaten. It's a little pricey so I cut it 1:1 with other cheaper organic crumbs I can get locally. They seek out and pick out all the scratches to be the first to eat! Smells a little fishier than expected; My dogs actually ripped open the box to get at it so EVERYONE loves it. I also bought Scratch and Peck's Grower for later use and keep my chickens in a laying hen and 3-sided scratch for treats. Egg production has skyrocketed since switching to Scratch and Peck.
