I bought this cover for my Blue Driver OBDII Automotive Scanner. I found this item via a pop-up ad promoting the item as a "must have" item. The tool's original packaging is quite durable, but since it's only cardboard, it will wear out over time. However, after examining the new case, I'm pretty sure that my scanner is safer in the original box than in this new case. On re-reading the item description, I realize that my expectations have exceeded the reality of the description. This indicates that the case protects against bumps and scratches. I'd say it's accurate, but also not what I wanted. I thought I would get a shockproof case. I will not return the item. Not worth the trouble. Instead, I'll put a quarter in it and leave it in our spare room. The next time one of the grandchildren sleeps over, they will find the suitcase and the quarter inside. She'll be happy when I tell her she can have it. And also. She'll be 25 cents better than me.
