Review on ArmorAll Wet/Dry 12V Vacuum Cleaner: Powerful Cleaning for All Surfaces by Alejandro Lane

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It left even more to be desired, but cheap enough not to render it useless.

Cleans car carpet only mediocre, but lacks the power to do it quickly. I can spend about 10-15 minutes on this (compared to 1-2 at the mint or with my upright vacuum). I'd rate it a lot lower, but it's something you can take on a trip and does a good job of picking up large debris. It comes with a paper towel travel pouch and two brush accessories. I've already lost my brush accessories because the bag doesn't close very well. On the other hand, I've owned it for about a year and have used it consistently throughout that time. When I feel like a deep clean I just pull out my hand or shop vacuum to really clean it, but that's great if I don't want to struggle with getting my long extension out of the shed. It also has a fold-out extension tube that works much better than the standard orifice as it focuses the airflow a bit more at the expense of a smaller orifice. It might be better to get a higher powered rechargeable portable vacuum and leave it in your car until it needs to be recharged. It's "good" overall, but definitely nothing that calls for a quick deep clean. There are doubts about his "wet" abilities.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
