Review on KYB SM5267 Mount Kit by Joey Quade

These bushings are much better than the small ones that come with many aftermarket shocks as they are larger in diameter and the force applied to the bushings is better distributed. I think the OEM bushings are better than these but love the shape and the material they are made out of. The seller says it's a kit but it's only for one shock absorber so it's only a kit for one side of your car. I have used 1981 Ford LTD Crown Victoria front shock absorbers and they fit better than the old ones, also on the rear shock these bushings fit very well. It may not be necessary for this application, but I think the OEM shims are much better than the ones included in this kit; To me, given their large diameter, the washers appear flimsy. The bushings don't smell like rubber, maybe these are some type of urethane.
