A pure sine wave is what you need when you need reliable performance; I replaced a new 4000w inverter that only has a "modified sine wave" and will not work with my professional heat gun. This worked with my air compressor, coffee pot and small electronics, but not with the adjustable 1500w LED heat up to 600 degrees. Now everything is in order! My app is for "Off-Grid", not recommended for beginners; I am running 3 solar panels totaling 160 watts with a 1000 amp blocking diode (brute force); Solar regulator and 2 yellow top batteries with a 30A fuse connected to the engine to keep the yellow top engine battery charged when parked. Solar panel for 200 ampere hours? Well that's because as a rescuer, rock or off-road rider I need all the space I can get. But it is NOT out of the picture yet. Batteries keep getting smaller and better, so I'm a patient person.
