We first used these caps on a custom bike almost 7 years ago. The original caps are still present, without rust spots and/or signs of wear! They hide the screw heads for a "clean" look. You can find them at AutoZone or similar places, but they cost more. I would recommend that you measure all of your gear and buy enough to get the job done right away.
