Review on WIX Filters 33811 Spin Filter by Flee Pannell

Bought this filter about a year ago but was hesitant to fit it. Didn't know how to vent after installation (installed upside down on my truck). Then my truck started to get harder to start. The engine ran for a second or two, then cut out. I later put two and two together: I used an injector cleaner and found that the cleaner loosened a lot of dirt in the fuel tanks and lines and clogged the fuel filter. After months of starting difficulties, it would not start. start at all. I considered towing it to a shop for repairs, then decided to replace the fuel filter if that was the problem. I had some diesel fuel in a can in the office and before installing the filter I poured the diesel into the new filter. Then installed it. The car started immediately and has run flawlessly ever since. Air purge was not required.
