Not recommended. Even after calibration, the scale does not provide any reproducible measured values. It was used on a stable granite surface without drafts and vibrations. You can load a 10g calorie (about 10g) and then add a second 10g calorie (about 20g +/- 1%). Remove the 2nd weight and the 1st weight shows 9.5g (?!). Add the 2nd weight back to the reading (about 18g). Massive drift when weighing samples weighing 100-200 mg. Must be tared continuously (i.e. between each sample).
