Review on 🏎️ Carbide Aluminum Applications by SPEED TIGER: Enhancing Productivity and Performance by Will Kern

This cutter was used for deep cuts in sheet aluminum. The cutter (3/8″ diameter) worked very well, cutting the full .25″ width, depth of cut per pass at approximately (power supply, non-CNC) .003 per chip tooth. I used a straight plunge to start the cut and it worked just as well, but if you have a CNC I would use the plunge strategy. sharp as new (when I dropped it on the floor in the tool holder and it broke 😖). Using the water cooling system throughout the process and holding the water made a huge difference in the quality of the cut. Chip control was good and the surface quality on the finishing pass was excellent. I bought a few more to have on hand for future work. Great cutter at this price.
