I set the required pressure and the compressor automatically turns off when it is reached. In my opinion, the compressor is very well made in the form of a bowler hat. You don’t need to constantly get the compressor and hose from somewhere and then put it somewhere. .I keep this bowler under the front seat. If there is an organizer in the trunk, then this bowler can easily fit in them without taking up extra space in the trunk like bags with other compressors. I don't regret buying.
