Review on SPTA Polishing Adapter Backing Polisher by Cyrus Wright
NO 5/8-11 thread for 5/8-11 spindle
The pad will not screw onto the 5/8-11 spindle on my orange angle grinder because the pad threads are slightly smaller . Tried my grinder's spindle nut on the adapter and the adapter was slightly smaller. A cordless drill will likely work with the adapter, but not an angle grinder. Since I searched for "angle grinder polishing pad" and found this one, I expected it to work. I'm assuming it was imported and is indeed metric.
