I bought this mainly to help with my electronics hobby. I'm a software developer and my vision is not that good. I have glasses, but I don't like wearing them. This is a very useful device and I appreciate it very much. One of my hobbies is making tiny gadgets with Arduino. It's much better to identify those colored bands around those tiny resistors and those IC labels. The camera itself has these bright LEDs and a pair of flexible, bright light arms. I usually just use the camera light, but sometimes those hands can come in handy. Bonus: my toddler loves to interrupt me with these tiny dead caterpillars that he finds. Now he's getting curious about those tiny objects on the floor. Funny times!
