I don't know when it stopped but when I tried to use it after 3 weeks it was dead. I plugged in my USB 3 power line from the MBP charger, a little white light comes on but now it's charging my MacBook Pro not on, HDMI missing, as well as all four USB 3 ports. I think I have a bad one. Send back. The manufacturer needs to improve quality control and testing before they walk out the door. Aggravating.
