This paring knife is way better than I expected.The overall design is absolutely beautiful, the proportion between the tang and blade length are perfect.The knife is slightly heavier than expect, considering the small size, but still a good weight that allows precise cuts with good handle size.Right out of the box, the knife is quite sharp and after a quick honing with the included sharpener it gets razor sharp.Hedge retention is great, I have been using this daily and sharpened only once.Pro tips: regularly oil the wood handle with specific finishing oil, keep the blade edge between 8° and 12° when sharpening with a whetstone and always hand-wash and completely dry your knife before storing.
