Not for materials other than paper
Pros: Penetrates light and delicate paper Poor: Difficult to pierce as mechanism jams Not suitable for fabric, cardboard or thick paper Clogs with repeated use. Final Thoughts: I was disappointed when I first opened the Star Punch because it was so hard to even punch since the mechanism got stuck and that was before I even used it for anything. I used wax paper as the instructions say and it still didn't work in my case. I sent it back the same day.
