I didn't know I needed this
I wouldn't say (and I've been a long-time homemaker) that I needed a chopper, but my aspiring 13-year-old chef thought otherwise. So she went for this one and she loves it. It's nice and heavy enough, hasn't rusted in the 6 months or so we've had and sands what it wants. Handy if you don't want to break the blender or fight with the fork.
