No idea why all the bad reviews. I was scratching my head and thought I should write a review to help everyone. I really liked the sound of these Boss Phantom speakers. Was looking for a 12" but saw this offer on a 10 and bought a box/kit with a Boss amp a few years ago and couldn't resist the great price. Used the Boss amp for about a year, sounded good but I wanted great! Switched to a friend's old Rockford Fosgate amp (e.g. 2500w, old amp from USA) and WOW! I have dual coils connected with 2 ohms to each channel (right/left ) are plugged in and I have a clear sound with any type of music. on the side but the sound is RIGHT HERE behind you! Even your hair moves when you look away :) Love it! For the price it's the performance everything you need except from the competition which at this price point you won't be buying anyway For everyone else, with proper amplification or even under amplification in my opinion they will provide the sound you are looking for!
