The LEAFAX 72 watercolor pencil set is pretty good. This set is delivered well. The packaging was minimal and nothing was missing from the items to be received. There were no foreign or chemical smells. I love that it comes in a tin case with inserts for storing pens when in use. I'm a complete novice when it comes to watercolor pencils, but I've tried quite a few. However, I really like this set and am a fan of it. It comes with many colors to add volume with shading etc. My art doesn't come with a sharpener so be sure to have one handy. None of my pens have broken in use. The pigment is decent. It reacts quite well to water, but I've found that sometimes I have to stain the paper a bit more to get a deeper tint. I'm still working on blending, but this method seems to work fine. The set is beautifully presented and makes a great gift or present for beginners to intermediate artists. highlighted.
