Machining with these adapters is very pleasant. However, a pusher is inserted into the female end of the fitting, which may be inserted too far. This was a case I encountered without realizing it. I went to vacuum the mini split system and unbeknownst to me I just vacuumed the hose and gauge because the pusher didn't hook the center pin of the schrader valve. Thinking I had a well evacuated system, I dumped the charge from the compressor into the lines and evaporator. Well, you know what HVAC means. Now I had a contaminated cargo in this system. It took a lot of money and time to recover from that. However, the fittings and seals are good, but you need to inspect carefully. If the pusher is too deep, you can use pliers to pull it out a bit.
