Update: Because it sticks out so far it got stuck and broke. I won't buy longer. Switched to a small one. The item arrived very quickly and in its original packaging, safely stowed with instructions and a CD. I didn't use the hard drive, I downloaded the device manager from the website. Then I tried to install and configure it and couldn't. In itself it didn't work. It's not plug and play. There was no help window to configure it. After hours of frustration, I contacted their support team. It only took me about 5 minutes to figure out that I first had to "turn off" my internal wifi (which broke for me) before it would work. So easy! The instructions don't say anything about this step, but it should be because it's really important. The device works great. Since then I have had no more problems, no freezing. I would recommend.
