Worked great on my 22 year old Dewalt miter saw. This is a redesigned version of the original handle and switch assembly, but it fits the saw perfectly and works great. The process of turning an old button/switch into a new one is not for the faint of heart. The rewiring and some other installation details are tricky, but anyone with a basic knowledge of tools and electricity should be able to handle it. Just take enough time to take a photo of the wiring diagram before removing the old parts and watch a few youtube videos that show you step by step. The instructions that came with the kit are fuzzy and poorly done, but the included switch schematic is pretty solid. Overall, I hope this kit will extend the life of my otherwise excellent saw for a long time to come. So this will be a great investment.
