It is quite soft and attractive. It works fine but I just reset the stars because it didn't wind up properly. After untying the strand, spend about an hour untangling it before winding it into a center-pull strand. For the price of this thread, which is comparable to other international brands, you would think they could wrap their strands better. Lotus makes all kinds of high quality products, they just need to be better at their strands. All in all a good buy if you throw away the yarn they call their skeins.
