Not as good as expected for my project

I found my woven fabric shifted a lot while making the punch needle. This was my first time using this type of frame and by the end of the process I found that everything stays in place better if I put extra fabric under the clips. I think this would work well for quilts.

I was worried this would be hard to hold because of the size but it’s very comfortable.
