I have used this sealant on some brass air fittings on my two stage air compressor. I haven't had much luck with the pasta I bought at my local hardware store, lots of nasty leaks. I scraped the old sealant off the fittings, cleaned the threads with Scotch-Brite, then isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free rag, let it dry, and then applied the sealant. I let the assembled fittings dry for 24 hours and then increased the pressure to 175psi. No leakage, not the slightest amount. I highly recommend this seal!
