When the light box arrived I was very skeptical of the product as the packaging they came in looked very cheap. This aroused my suspicions. And the last thing I wanted to do was pay a handyman to install poor quality lamps. I spent some time reading product reviews and was even more skeptical because all the positive comments (back then) were registered within a few days. I was under the impression that these are fake reviews (and they may be, but it is an honest positive review). Being so skeptical I went to Lowe and bought them without a can of headlights which cost twice as much. I told the handyman I was concerned about the quality of these flashlights and he opened up the flashlights and examined them (he was very familiar with Lowe flashlights so he could compare them from previous experience). He said he didn't see anything wrong. with those lanterns, and they were such a great price that if he were me he would have returned Lowe's lanterns and kept them for himself. So I went ahead and asked him to put a light in my son's room. At first I wasn't happy because the light color was too blue for my liking. but he went to the attic and matched the color and then they had the perfect light warm color. He put a dimmer on the lights which is great because they are really bright (which is what we need). I like the way the lights look. They are very sharp and so small that they look more like a speaker than a light source. In the end I was so pleased with them that I asked my master to install the same fixtures in my bathroom and toilet. I returned the Lowe lights and saved up. lots of money Sometimes things that seem too good to be true are actually true!
