Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ TRIPP LITE 8-Port IP KVM Switch - Rackmount Steel Design with On-Screen Display (B022-U08-IP), Black by Chad Sornsin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good form factor, easy to use

The problem with many inexpensive KVM switches is that the cable connections take up two or three sides, the selection buttons (if any) are on top, and the hotkey switching sequence is cumbersome. This switch has all the wiring connections on the back, buttons/LEDs on the front, and a reasonable (but not the best I've come across) hotkey sequence. The metal body is impressive and worked flawlessly for about a month. The form factor allowed me to install it under the shelf where it's convenient but not in the way. I had another PS2 2-port KVM switch, but I put it back in the box and bought this one because the design of this switch didn't allow for a clean install.
