Revainrating 1 out of 5

Really good so far. List of pros and cons.

Rated 4 out of 5 as it's only been a month and there are a few small "quirks" which are listed in the CONS section below. So I got these at the end of December to replace my old wi-fi system which was having LOTS of signal strength issues lately and was cutting communication between the 'tethering' and wi-fi router system. For reference we have a house of about 2600 square feet, 2 floors and both (new) units are upstairs in opposite corners of the house. Pros: Installation was SUPER easy. I was up and running in no time (only about 30 minutes for both nodes) and most of my time was spent getting to the outlets and updating the firmware. "Time Limits" is easy to set up. Great for your kids who like to stay up late. There is a POWER SWITCH! Although I didn't have to use it, it's a great feature. You can set up "Auto Reboot" on your router at a scheduled time. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's like restarting your computer. Cleans up junk that may have accumulated and makes it work better. Better signal for all our Wi-Fi devices than our old 3 node Wi-Fi system. Cons: There are few cons and there are more "Things that bother me" Or last month it was. Three times it restarted randomly in the middle of the day. - I still don't know what caused it, but it all happened three days in a row and around the same time with the same bandwidth. Since 2 no more. Family accounts sometimes seem to lose their assigned devices.3. It is necessary to check the application from time to time (perhaps once a month) to see if there is a firmware update. Bottom line: I would definitely recommend this device to anyone who needs/wants a new router that will (apparently) last a long time. for many years. 8, 2021 Update They have multiple firmware updates and really only one or two issues. One of them was at night when it just went down and I had to physically power cycle both routers. Otherwise I had no problems with them. Now all we need is our service provider to slow down internet speed so we 6 can handle it better.
