I had a Shark IQ R101AE self-draining robot for a few weeks until its drive motor failed, so I replaced it with an M7 Pro with optional dust collector. In general this works well, however heavier items in the basket stay on board the robot. Since the M7 Pro uses the same large built-in bin for both independent and self-drain modes, it doesn't matter unless you have a lot of large debris (scattered flakes, etc.). In this case, you may have to empty the on-board container manually. Also note that this case comes with 3 disposable vacuum bags, there are no markings on the bags and at the moment replacement bags are not listed on the Revain website in the US although they can be found on the Revain website in Germany . My guess is that since this is a new article as of mid-February 2020, it will appear on the US Revain website in the coming weeks. When the robot empties the trash into the trash can, the motor sound is quite loud for about 5 seconds, which is comparable to the sound of a traditional handheld vacuum.
