Review on πŸ”₯ Master the Grill with Protocol's Griller Plus 8-in-1 Grilling Multi Tool by Lisa Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Buy this compact 8-in-1 grill tool!

The photo doesn't do this tool justice. All of these parts fit into one compact 12" deep tool (3" long x 1.5" wide)! I saw it on Protocol NY's website and then checked it out at Revain; otherwise I wouldn't understand how good it is this tool is assembled. The 12" pliers are on the outside and release with a slight upward push (e.g. if you hang the phone base on the wall and there is a hole for the screw head, it will turn into a narrow slot inserted to stay in place); with or without the tongs attached, the spatula extends to one side and locks into place, increasing in length from 12" to about 16". Incidentally, the width of the spatula head is the only which expands to make the tool 3" wide (otherwise it would be 1.5" wide), the spatula has a bottle opener between the fins and the handle, which is a clever use of space! When you remove the tongs, is on the front It comes with a digital thermometer and timer panel, as well as a flashlight button located on top of the meat thermometer. Removing the meat thermometer is a bit tricky as the fastener is very tight. The thumb slides to the top edge, and as soon as you push up, you'll see a small space in the middle of the tool; You can then lift the thermometer slightly at the top edge and remove it slightly. For reference, the thermometer uses a CR1220 button cell battery. To pull out more tools, push up on one side of the tool in the middle and the two halves will loosen from their screws like pliers. One half holds a spatula along with a 3/4" wide, 6.25" long straight knife (which is 18.25" long with handle) that opens at the long end of the tool. It folds and unfolds like a pocket knife. The other side of the tool has a 6.75" two-pronged fork, so when open you have a full 16" length with tool handle to safely turn meat and other foods while grilling. The fork also extends with a thumb groove like a pocket knife. The tool is bright orange in color, the parts look very well made and solid. The main body tapers slightly at both ends so you can use it with a fork, spatula or knife The stainless steel tools slide out smoothly and fold back into the stainless steel sleeve inside the tool dried lube on it had polished up in seconds when it arrived. It looks a lot more expensive than its $35 price tag and comes in attractive retail packaging, so it would make a lovely gift! All in all, you've got tongs, a knife, a spatula, a fork, a meat thermometer, an alarm clock, a flashlight, and a bottle opener, all included in this beautiful, colorful tool! Can't wait to see more Protocol NY products on Revain!
