Review on CLOUDBERG 1100Gph Automatic Submersible Automatic by Dawson Schmidt

I bought this to replace an old bilge pump on my 18ft powerboat. It's compact, 6 inches long, and fits in your hand. It will pump 1100 gallons per hour. It runs off your 12v system and you have a simple 2 wire connection. It does not require a separate float switch - it is built in. The pump turns on automatically when water gets into the bilge and turns off when there is no water (wiring allows for manual on/off). I use my boat on a freshwater lake, but this pump is rated for saltwater as well. Exhaust pipe 29 mm (OD) or 1-1/8 inch. The inner diameter is 15/16 inches. My old exhaust pipe fits snugly on it, so no problem. There is a blue plastic filter with a latch for easy cleaning of leaves and other debris. .Recommended.
