Review on Sony BDPS1500 Blu Ray Player Model by Elijah Balzarini

I bought it on December 3, 2015. When streaming to my TV it worked fine with no hiccups. BUT I tried playing some DVDs for the FIRST TIME yesterday. Disc tray cannot be opened. No matter how many times I enter the code in the manual to override the parental controls (which I detest for a number of reasons), it won't open. You can hear him trying, but it never happens. I looked at a more detailed guide on Sony's website and tried their solution to this. THIS FIXES NOTHING. Instead, I get the message "The EJECT button is currently unavailable. Cancel parental controls. According to the detailed manual on their website for that particular product. This is the first time I've ever tried locking the DVD player portion use it and for one of the two reasons I bought it I found that it didn't even work I thought it might take a few months for me but IMO this device is still NEW at least for what it is As for the DVD player itself.. what an expensive shit.. btw some of their fixes for this trick indicate that two people are required as they tell you to unplug and plug the power supply back in AT THE SAME TIME by pressing the buttons on the Press player yourself. Unless you're an acrobat, have very long arms and legs, and maybe even two heads with two pairs of eyes, you're SUPER without another person. tested both back then aspects rather than assuming that if it works with streaming then the DVD player will work too. I never thought this would be the case with Sony and I will never put off trying ALL the features again. I don't know who I want to kick ass more. Mine or Sony, but since I spent about $60 on it I lean more towards the latter. And given that the player itself has hardly been used to stream, has never been moved or abused, I don't recommend it and would never buy another device like this with any sort of parental controls.
